This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which MzDeal provides refunds for goods and services. By using MzDeal, you agree to the rules described in this policy. MzDeal aims to handle all refund requests fairly, transparently, and in compliance with Mozambican regulations.
MzDeal operates with three categories of payments:
Goods sold directly by MzDeal (MzDeal-Owned Products)
Subscriptions and service-based payments (Boosts, promotions, ad highlights, membership plans)
Items sold by third-party users/sellers through the marketplace
Each category follows a different refund model explained below.
MzDeal provides refunds for items only when the goods are sold directly by MzDeal, not by third-party sellers.
You may request a refund if:
The item received does not match the description
The item is defective, damaged, or non-functional
The item was not delivered
The item was delivered to the wrong address (our responsibility)
The wrong item was delivered
To qualify:
You must report the issue within 7 days of delivery
You must provide clear proof (photos, videos, or documentation)
The item must be returned in its original condition unless defective
Approved refunds may be given as:
Original payment method refund, or
MzDeal Balance credit for faster processing
Refund processing typically takes 5–14 business days depending on your payment provider.
If a buyer and seller complete a transaction outside the MzDeal platform, including but not limited to:
Cash transactions
WhatsApp negotiations
External website payments
Bank transfers done privately
Mobile money transfers outside the app
MzDeal is not responsible and will not:
Provide refunds
Provide seller information
Mediate disputes
Assist in fraud recovery
Transactions performed outside MzDeal violate platform rules and void refund eligibility.
MzDeal does not offer refunds on the following:
Subscription plans
Ad boosts or highlighted posts
Featured placement services
Paid promotions
Account upgrades
Digital services already activated
These services:
Are digital and delivered instantly
Cannot be reversed once activated
Provide value immediately upon use
Thus, all subscription and service payments are final and non-refundable.
MzDeal is a marketplace that allows independent sellers to post items.
For items posted by users:
MzDeal is not the owner of the item
MzDeal does not guarantee the item’s condition
MzDeal does not offer refunds
Buyers must resolve disputes directly with the seller if:
An item does not match the description
The item is broken, fake, or incorrectly delivered
The item is never delivered
MzDeal may suspend fraudulent sellers but cannot offer refunds for third-party sales.
Balance added to your MzDeal Wallet is non-refundable, except when required by law or when:
Balance was added by mistake due to a system error
Duplicate payments occurred
Wallet funds may be used for in-app services, subscriptions, or purchases (if supported).
Withdrawals of wallet balance are only allowed when explicitly supported by the platform. Otherwise, wallet funds remain usable only within MzDeal.
If the purchase qualifies for a refund (goods sold directly by MzDeal), follow these steps:

Review your request
Investigate the order
Contact you within 48–72 hours
You may be asked to return the item before the refund is approved.
MzDeal reserves the right to refuse refunds for:
Suspicious activity
Repeated refund requests
Misuse of refund claims
Attempts to defraud the platform
Accounts engaged in fraudulent behavior may be permanently banned.
MzDeal may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated version.
